Eric Berry downplays kind act to homeless caught on video

Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry attempted to downplay a video that has gone viral showing him buying meals for and praying with homeless people, saying, “It’s nothing new.”

Berry was back in his college town of Knoxville, Tenn., over the weekend to speak at a sports awards banquet when a couple recognized him and began to record video. It shows Berry ordering food to-go at a restaurant and then distributing the meals to three homeless people on the street outside.
